Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of www.tellsaleem.com (“Site”), operated by Saleem Telemedicine W.L.L., a company incorporated in the Kingdom of Bahrain under Commercial Registration No. 141800. By using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all related policies.
1. Definitions
User / Patient: Any individual accessing the Site to seek healthcare services.
Specialist / Doctor: Any licensed medical practitioner registered on the Site to provide telemedicine services.
Hospital / Institution: Any licensed healthcare establishment registered on the Site to provide medical services.
We / Us / Saleem: Saleem Telemedicine W.L.L., provider of the platform.
2. Scope of Services
Saleem is an online platform connecting Users with Specialists and Hospitals. Saleem is not a healthcare provider and does not guarantee medical outcomes. The Site is not to be used for medical emergencies. In emergencies, call your local emergency number.
3. Registration & Accounts
Users, Specialists, and Hospitals must provide accurate, current information during registration. Each party is responsible for the security of their account credentials. Misuse, misrepresentation, or fraudulent use of the Site may result in suspension or termination.
4. Appointments & Fees
Users may schedule consultations with Specialists and Hospitals via the Site. Fees are displayed at checkout and must be paid in advance. Specialists and Hospitals agree to honor scheduled appointments unless cancelled in accordance with the cancellation policy.
5. Payments & Refunds
Payments are processed through approved secure gateways. Refunds are granted in specific cases, e.g. cancellation within 24 hours, doctor no-show, or service failure. Hospitals and Specialists authorize Saleem to hold and disburse payments on their behalf, minus applicable service charges.
6. Obligations of Users
Users must provide accurate medical history and information, use the Site responsibly, and seek in-person medical care when advised or in emergency cases.
7. Obligations of Specialists & Hospitals
Specialists and Hospitals must maintain valid licenses and qualifications, deliver services in compliance with medical laws, NHRA regulations, and professional ethics, keep patient records confidential, and refrain from prescribing controlled substances or issuing official sick leave documents via the Site.
8. Data Protection & Confidentiality
All parties’ data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Specialists and Hospitals must protect Users’ personal and medical information. Saleem may disclose information to regulators or courts when legally required.
9. Intellectual Property
All Site content is owned by Saleem unless otherwise stated. Users, Specialists, and Hospitals retain ownership of their own uploaded content but grant Saleem a license to use it for service delivery.
10. Prohibited Use
No unlawful, defamatory, or fraudulent use of the Site. No data scraping, hacking, spreading malware, or unauthorized sharing of accounts or patient data.
11. Limitation of Liability
Saleem is not liable for medical advice given by Specialists or Hospitals. Saleem is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Aggregate liability is limited to fees paid in the last three months.
12. Termination & Deactivation
Users, Specialists, or Hospitals may deactivate their accounts following Site procedures. Saleem reserves the right to suspend or terminate access in case of violations.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Bahraini courts.
